Successful JITC testing assures government customers of interoperability and reliability
Unify, the Atos brand for communications software and services, and T-Metrics, a premier telecommunications software developer, today announced they have successfully completed joint interoperability testing by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). The interoperability testing showed the compatibility between Unify’s OpenScape Voice and T-Metrics’ TM-2000 Multi-Purpose ACD Platform as well as the TM-2000 Consolidated Answering System.
By successfully completing interoperability testing, Unify and T-Metrics provide reassurance to government customers choosing these products that they will work together reliably, effectively and securely. Unify has long been committed to delivering flexible, reliable and secure solutions that work in any environment, and this joint interoperability testing provides further evidence that customers can select the communication components that best fit their purposes, without sacrificing performance.
Unify’s JITC Certified OpenScape Voice Session Controller is a carrier-grade enterprise communication solution, scalable up to 100,000 users per system and 500,000 per cluster. It delivers superior security capabilities, including Assured Services SIP (AS-SIP), the standard signaling protocol used within the U.S. Department of Defense, and cyber security features as required by the Department of Defense, which are also critical features for public sector, healthcare and financial services customers.
T-Metrics’ TM-2000 Multi-Purpose ACD Platform is a feature-rich contact center system that offers both flexibility and simplicity in configuring skill based call routing. Subscription based and on-demand reporting allow managers to accurately assess metrics, discover customer pain-points, and staff for call volume. The T-Metrics TM-2000 Consolidated Operator Answering System allows an organization to share operator resources across multiple locations and phone switches, without worrying about tying up expensive trunk pools. It has proven especially valuable to customers who have needed to staff operators around the clock in multiple locations, when fewer shared operators can handle the call load.
“Unify aims to provide our customers with the flexibility to select the products that best fit their specific needs both from Unify and from other vendors,” said Russell Brodsky, Director of Federal Government Sales for Unify. “Successfully undergoing interoperability testing with T-Metrics provides customers with the assurance that if they select each of our solutions, they will easily and effectively work together, in adherence to the high standards set out by the U.S. Department of Defense.”
“T-Metrics prides itself on being a premier provider of contact center solutions to government and federal agencies, and JITC testing is a key component of building that legacy,” said Ryan Ross, Director of Department of Defense Sales for T-Metrics. “With this joint interoperability testing with Unify’s OpenScape Voice, we can assure government customers that their communication and call center solutions will seamlessly work together to ensure mission-critical communications are supported.”
